Údarás na Gaeltachta / The Gaeltacht Authority Údarás na Gaeltachta develop the Gaeltacht economy in order to preserve and enrich the Irish language as the principal language therein. In order to achieve its goals, Údarás na Gaeltachta, established in 1980, pursues strategic aims in the areas of Industrial Development, Community/Regional Development and Training/Human Resource Development. Údarás is also involved in community, cultural and language development activities.
Foras na Gaeilge Foras na Gaeilge are the body responsible for promotion of the Irish language throughout the whole island of Ireland, was founded on the second day of December 1999.
The Foras aims to facilitate and encourage the speaking and writing of Irish in the public and private arena in the Republic of Ireland, and in Northern Ireland where there is appropriate demand, in the context of part three of the European Charter for Regional and Minority Languages.
Comhdháil Náisiúnta na Gaeilge Comhdháil Náisiúnta na Gaeilge is the central steering council for the Irish language community. Its mission is to 'strengthen and consolidate goodwill and support for the Irish language and its usage as a living language so that it may be used freely and widely in all aspects of Irish life'.
Conradh na Gaeilge / The Gaelic League Conradh na Gaeilge / The Gaelic League is an organisation "for the purpose of keeping the Irish language spoken in Ireland.. They are the main voluntary community organisation that promotes the Irish language in Ireland and abroad. Its main aim is to reinstate the Irish language as the common tongue of Ireland. Since its foundation on 31 July 1893 members of the Conradh have been actively promoting Irish in every aspect of life in Ireland.

Gaelchultúr The company Gaelchultúr Teoranta (Ltd.) was established in 2004 with the aim of promoting the Irish language and various aspects of Irish culture, including music, song and dance, in Dublin and other parts of Ireland.
